§ 6-3-1. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Building inspector means the director of community development or his designee.

Person means any person, firm or corporation, or any county, municipal corporation or public district of the state.

Sanitary facility means a water flush toilet approved by the health department connected to an approved sewage disposal system, or a chemical type toilet approved by the health department.

Work means the erection, construction, alteration, repair, razing, adding to, removal or demolition of any building; the construction or repair of any street, road, highway or railroad or installation of sewers or water lines; or the improvement of any grounds for parks, playgrounds or airports or for any similar purpose.
