§ 8-4-198. Fabrication.

(a)

The minimum nominal shell thickness for formed and vibrated sections shall be one-eighth of the internal diameter of the riser or largest cone diameter, and for centrifugally spun sections 1/12 of the internal diameter of the riser or largest cone diameter.

(b)

Manholes shall be fabricated only from eccentric taper sections or eccentric flat top sections and standard cylinder units of the proper internal diameter. The minimum allowable steel shall be hoops of no. 4 wire, to be cast into each unit at adequate places as a precautionary measure for handling.

(c)

The manhole sections shall be cast without ladder rungs.
