§ 8-5-1. Adoption of the California Mechanical Code.

The 2016 Edition of the California Mechanical Code, based on the 2015 Uniform Mechanical Code as published by the IAMPO, shall be the Mechanical Code of the City, regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation and maintenance of heating, ventilating, cooling, refrigeration systems, incinerators and other miscellaneous heat producing appliances. The California Mechanical Code is on file for public examination in the office of the Building Official. One copy of the code is now filed in the office of the City Clerk. This code is hereby adopted and incorporated as through [though] set forth in full in this section.
